Cultural Cancer!
I believe lying is definitely a cultural cancer! We have all agreed to lie to our children and tell them about Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. In our society these lies aren’t even considered real lies because we all share a common lie. The people who don’t tell these lies are sometimes even questioned for NOT telling these lies to their children. We don’t even question the fact that these are lies, we just go about our lives telling these lies to our children from generation to generation. I don’t think I will tell these lies to my children. I want to be the one thanked every year for working hard to buy the presents.

Supreme Court Decision
Corporations have been given the right to use their money to support political parties. I don’t feel like I can fully take a stance on either side because I am not in this situation. I understand the opinions of both sides and why they feel so strongly on this. It is hard to say that a corporation should or shouldn’t have the same rights as an individual person because they have so many people and laws to back them up. Should they have free speech like the rest of us? Should a corporation be able to give money to a political party they favor? They might say they’re helping the individual, but in actuality the voters will be persuaded to follow that corporations “donation.” Should we put a limit on how a corporation decides to spend their money? It’s their money and they deserve the right to do as they please with it.
